Our Maine Coon Placement Process
Shipping
As a general practice, we do not ship or use third-party couriers for our Maine Coon kittens and cats. Most EuroCoons' clients choose to pick up their kitten in person.
When air travel is required, EuroCoons kittens are to travel in the cabin only. Cargo transport is never permitted.
After application approval and deposit confirmation, we share the pickup location or discuss delivery options when applicable.
Bloodlines
All Maine Coon kittens for sale at EuroCoons come from directly imported European bloodlines. Our breeding cats are health tested before import, quarantined, and retested in the United States.
EuroCoons Maine Coon kittens are recognized for their European-type features, including strong muzzles, tall ears, long, muscular bodies, and extended tails.
Care and Environment
EuroCoons Maine Coon kittens are hand-raised from birth in a dedicated nursery environment. They receive daily human interaction and develop into confident, affectionate companions.
We focus on health, temperament, and structure throughout early development.
Deposit and Reservations
A non-refundable deposit of 50 percent is required to reserve a kitten. The deposit is applied toward the total placement fee at the time of pickup.
Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, Zelle, and Venmo. Any associated transfer fees are the buyer's responsibility.
Kittens are reserved once a deposit is received. We are unable to hold kittens without a deposit.
Pickup is scheduled within two weeks of the deposit date. Extended care beyond this period is available for an additional fee of $500 per week.
Veterinary Care and What Is Included
A licensed veterinarian examines all EuroCoons kittens before the pickup date.
Each placement includes:
- Spay or neuter surgery
- FVRCP vaccinations (all rounds)
- Rabies vaccination
- Health certificate
New owners receive complete medical and vaccination records at pickup.

Text communication allows us to confirm availability and ensure alignment before scheduling a phone call. A phone call can always be scheduled before a deposit is accepted.
Application Guidelines
Please, contact us only when you are ready to welcome a kitten. Research and comparison shopping should be completed before requesting a consultation.
Applications are accepted only when kittens are currently available. We do not maintain a waiting list or accept deposits on unborn litters.
When all kittens are reserved, response times may be delayed until availability changes.
Health Testing
All Maine Coon cats at EuroCoons undergo comprehensive health evaluations before breeding. Our kittens come from lines with documented screening for inherited conditions, including HCM, SMA, PRA, and PKD.
Breeding cats are also tested and confirmed negative for FIV and FeLV.
